- Flows for Johnson Bar, Pittsburg Landing and McDuff Rapids are calculated flows based on Hells Canyon Dam releases, routing coefficients and travel times to each location. Routed flows are intended to provide general information about the timing and magnitude of flows at these locations, but actual flows can be expected to vary based on the predictive uncertainty of the routing calculations.
- The Flow Summary page indicates the time of the last update at the top of the page. Be sure the graph/table you are viewing corresponds to your river location and time. You may need to refresh your screen if you have previously viewed the graph at this or another site.
- The flow information for Hells Canyon Dam is not instantaneous; instead the data is updated at regular intervals. Please note the time the information was last updated at the top of the Current Flows display graph. Flows may have changed since the last update.
- All times are listed in Mountain Standard Time. During Daylight Savings (summer) Mountain Standard Time is equivalent to Pacific Daylight Time (add 1 hour to convert to Mountain Daylight Time). During Standard Time (winter) Mountain Standard Time is consistent with Mountin local time (subtract 1 hour to convert to Pacific Standard Time).
